There was an upset when 4th placed Paterna (5-4) was edged at home by tenth ranked Almassera (1-8) 68-67 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 21-9 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for forward Matias Boho (193-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Hugo Rueda (183-89) helped adding 8 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Jacobo Ijeilat (201-83) responded with 11 points and guard Jose Maria Garcia (192-78) scored 12 points. Paterna's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Almassera maintains tenth place in Group E with 1-8 record. It was Paterna's third loss in a row. They keep the fourth position with four games lost.
