Regular Season Round 11: Sitges - Quart 63-84

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Sitges (3-7) was rolled over at home by second ranked Quart (8-2) 84-63 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Quart. Sitges was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for forward Albert Masllorens (199-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Pau Vila (190-90) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. Five Quart players scored in double figures. Center Xavier Sabate (205-83) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and center Eduard Riu (202-82) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Sitges' coach Eduardo Pinero gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Quart. They keep a position of Group C-B leader, which they share with Pardinyes-L. Sitges lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with seven games lost.
