Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Valls Nutrion and 8th ranked Castelldefels had identical 4-5 record. This time Valls Nutrion used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Castelldefels 79-70 on Saturday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Valls Nutrion outrebounded Castelldefels 46-33 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for swingman Alejandro Alba (193-77) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. Power forward Josep Miguel (204) helped adding 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Valls Nutrion players scored in double figures. Forward Albert Olmedo (198-92) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Marc Pages (178-95) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Valls Nutrion (5-5) moved-up to sixth place in Group C-B, which they share with Vive El Masnou and Sant Adria. Loser Castelldefels dropped to the ninth position with six games lost.
