Regular Season Round 13: Rawia - Sudety 78-88

There was a minor upset in Rawicz where 4th placed Rawia (7-5) was defeated by sixth ranked Sudety (7-4) 88-78 on Saturday. Sudety dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Rawia's 26. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) fired 32 points and 6 assists for the winners. Power forward Jaroslaw Wilusz (200-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Michal Wielechowski (198-94) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and forward Pawel Nowicki (195-92) added 17 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Four Sudety and five Rawia players scored in double figures. Sudety moved-up to fourth place in Group D. Loser Rawia dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Sudety will face Miedzychod (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rawia will play against the league's second-placed Gornik (#2) and hope to win that game.
