Regular Season Round 13: RIG Mark - Eskilstuna 97-91

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Eskilstuna (7-2) against tenth ranked RIG Mark (3-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Eskilstuna was defeated by RIG Mark in a tough game in Kinna 91-97. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Eskilstuna. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 36-21 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. RIG Mark made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Eskilstuna turnovers. Naturalized American guard David Czerapowicz (189-99) nailed 32 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and guard Ludvig Johansson (177-98) accounted for 16 points and 11 assists. RIG Mark's coach Michael Bree used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. British-Cameroonian forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and guard Hannes Widell (183-94) added 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Eskilstuna in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. RIG Mark moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Talje. Loser Eskilstuna keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with LF Future. RIG Mark will meet Helsingborg (#11) on the road in the next round. Eskilstuna will play against the league's second-placed Hogsbo (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
