Very predictable result when second ranked Artland Dragons (9-2) rolled over on the road 12th ranked Recklinghausen (2-9) 77-49 on Saturday. Artland Dragons forced 19 Recklinghausen turnovers. Naturalized American point guard Matthew Reid (185-84, college: Cameron, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Naturalized American Chris Frazier (182-90, college: Dubuque) contributed with 22 points for the winners. American power forward Tre Hale-Edmerson (206-92, college: CS Northridge) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and center Sebastiano Germana (194-88) added 8 points in the effort for Recklinghausen. Recklinghausen's coach Maik Berger gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Artland Dragons have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Bernau lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position in North. Recklinghausen lost fifth consecutive game.
