Rather expected game when 9th ranked Reggio Emilia (4-6) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Lecco (7-3) 81-70 on Sunday. Lecco outrebounded Reggio Emilia 33-16 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Point guard Davide Todeschini (190-93) had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Michele Peroni (188-94, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 20 points and 6 assists during the contest. Lecco's coach Massimo Meneguzzo used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side power forward Massimo Farioli (202-77, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 15 points and power forward Federico Pugi (206-85) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lecco have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with 3 other teams.
