There was a surprise result in Barcelona where fourteenth ranked Olivar (3-7) defeated higher ranked Barna (4-6) 85-68 on Sunday. The game without a history. Olivar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for Czech swingman Simon Pursl (203-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Unai Mendicote (196-99) helped adding 18 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Olivar's coach Carlos Iglesias used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Borja Ramos (196-81) responded with 12 points and guard David Capellas (192-81) scored 14 points. Olivar moved-up to twelfth place in Group C-A, which they share with Sant Nicolau. Barna lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with six games lost.
