The game in was also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked KKL (3-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Bank of Taiwan (1-9). KKL defeated Bank of Taiwan 95-85. KKL made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Bank of Taiwan was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and guard Tai-Jie Wang (183-92) who added 18 points and 4 steals during the contest. Five KKL players scored in double figures. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds and international guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) scored 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KKL maintains sixth position with 3-7 record. Bank of Taiwan lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. KKL will play against higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bank of Taiwan will play against Pauian (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
