Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Eisvogel Freiburg and 10th ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel had identical 3-7 record. This time Eisvogel Freiburg used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Rotenburg 68-63 on Sunday night. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Rotenburg/Scheessel won third quarter 23-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Eisvogel Freiburg won last quarter 14-10. They also forced 25 Rotenburg/Scheessel turnovers. American swingman Kristen McCarthy (182-90, college: Temple) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. Eisvogel Freiburg (4-7) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Chemnitz. Rotenburg/Scheessel lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with eight games lost.
