Regular Season Round 9: Hapoel T-A - Hapoel Holon 84-92

Winner League round 9 most important game was a victory of Hapoel Holon over 4th placed Hapoel Tel-Aviv 92-84 on Monday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Hapoel Holon looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for Khalif Wyatt (193-91, college: Temple, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. Forward Darion Atkins (203-92, college: Virginia) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. Swingman Alando Tucker (198-84, college: Wisconsin) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Adrian Banks (191-86, college: Arkansas St.) added 15 points in the effort for Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Five Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon (6-3) moved-up to second place, which they share with Bnei Hertzeliyya. Hapoel Tel-Aviv at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Hapoel J-M and Maccabi Rishon. Hapoel Holon is looking forward to face league's second-placed Bnei Hasharon in Hod Hasharon in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play on the road against Maccabi Ashdod and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
