Very predictable result when fifth ranked Hapoel B/S (6-3) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (1-8) 81-73. Hapoel B/S players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American swingman Jason Williams (198-83, college: UTEP) who led his team to a victory with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Dudu Shamriz (194-91) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Hapoel B/S players scored in double figures. U.S. Virgin Islands forward Aaron Brown (196-92, college: Boston Coll.) answered with 28 points and U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican forward Ivan Aska (201-90, college: Murray St.) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for Ironi Ramat Gan. Hapoel B/S moved-up to second place, which they share with Hapoel K/S and Hapoel Migd.H. Ironi Ramat Gan lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Hapoel B/S's next round opponent will be Hap.R/G Givat. (#7) in Givataim which should be theoretically an easy game. Ironi Ramat Gan will play at home against Hapoel Kfar Saba (#3) and hope to win that game.
