And finally the game worth to mention about is the one where eighth ranked Desio (5-6) won against 5th ranked Lecco (7-4) in a home game by 4 points 75-71 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Lecco. Desio looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Marco Torgano (197-91, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who scored 26 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Andrea Negri (193-88) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Power forward Jacopo Balanzoni (203-93, agency: Interperformances) produced 11 points, 8 assists and 6 steals and power forward Gaetano Spera (210-93, college: St.Peter's, agency: Players Group) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Lecco players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Desio maintains eighth place in B with 5-6 record, which they share with Padova. Loser Lecco dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Desio will face San Vendemiano (#14) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
