Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Giulianova (5-6) won against on the road 11th ranked Senigallia (3-7) 82-73 on Thursday. They outrebounded Senigallia 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was swingman Simone De Angelis (201-86) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Danilo Gallerini (185-80) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Nicola Bastone (195-92) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Andrea Maggiotto (194-88) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Giulianova moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Desio and Padova. Loser Senigallia dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. Giulianova will face Venafro (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
