No shocking result in a game when third ranked Universidad de Concepcion (14-7) defeated at home 11th ranked Universidad Catolica (5-19) 66-62. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were ahead by 12 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 20-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. American power forward Brandon Crawford (201-84, college: Albion) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import forward John Dickson (198-90, college: Sacramento St.) added 21 points and 6 assists respectively for Universidad Catolica in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Universidad de Concepcion have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 14-7 record having 4 victories less than leader Osorno. Universidad Catolica lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 19 games lost.
