Regular Season Round 10: Blois - Poitiers 95-90

An interesting game took place in Blois, where higher ranked Poitiers (4-6) lost to sixteenth ranked ADA Blois (3-7) in a road game 90-95 on Friday. ADA Blois shot 60.7 percent from the field. They also forced 19 Poitiers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Poitiers was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Benjamin Monclar (188-88) fired 29 points for the winners. Swingman Florian Thibedore (195-90) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. American swingman Drake Reed (194-87, college: Austin Peay St., agency: Inception Sports) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Arnaud Thinon (178-87) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Five Poitiers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. ADA Blois moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with St Chamond. Loser Poitiers dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. ADA Blois will face higher ranked Nantes (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
