Regular Season Round 10: Vichy Clermont - Denain 75-85

The biggest surprise of round 10 in ProB was guest Denain Voltaire's (6-4) road victory over 6th ranked JA Vichy (5-5) 85-75 on Friday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Denain Voltaire. JA Vichy managed to win second period 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Denain Voltaire looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Power forward Jerome Cazenobe (203-89) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Ivorian-American swingman Charles Abouo (196-89, college: BYU) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. David Denave (193-85) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Charles-Henri Bronchard (200-82, agency: Court Side) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Denain Voltaire moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. JA Vichy at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Denain Voltaire is looking forward to face ALM Evreux (#14) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. JA Vichy will play against Lille Metropole (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
