Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Silute (11-9) and Delikatesas (8-14), which took place in Joniskis. Higher ranked Silute was outleveled in a road game by twelfth ranked Delikatesas 100-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Silute. The game was mostly controlled by Delikatesas. Silute was better in third quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Delikatesas players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 21 passes made by Silute's players. Center Nerijus Barauskas (207-92) scored 29 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Deividas Sabeckis (190-91) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists during the contest. At the losing side center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Simas Raupys (195-94) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Delikatesas moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Mazeikiai. Silute at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Delikatesas will play against league's second-placed Nafta-Uni. in Klaipeda in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Silute will play at home against Mazeikiai (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
