Regular Season Round 13: Recklinghausen - Iserlohn 88-94

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Iserlohn (9-4) defeated on the road 12th ranked Recklinghausen (2-11) 94-88 on Saturday. Recklinghausen was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Ivorian forward Moussa Kone (203-93, college: Hofstra, agency: Dynamics Global Management) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Terrell Harris (191-93, college: Georgia Coll.) chipped in 22 points. American power forward Tre Hale-Edmerson (206-92, college: CS Northridge) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import point guard Chris Iles (180-89, college: Xavier, LA) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Iserlohn have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place in North, which they share with 3 other teams. Recklinghausen lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Iserlohn will face Rostock (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Recklinghausen will play against RSV Eintracht in Stahnsdorf and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
