Important game to mention about took place in Szczecin. Eighth ranked Wilki Morskie (7-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd placed MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (8-4) 82-79 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Taylor Brown (200-89, college: Bradley, agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. The former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Naturalized Ukrainian Vitaliy Kovalenko (204-84) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Byron Wesley (196-92, college: Gonzaga) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Wilki Morskie have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with PGE Turow. Wilki Morskie will play against Krosno (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will have a break next round.
