There was an upset when higher ranked Latina Basket (6-7) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Novipiu Casale (5-8) 77-64 on Sunday. Novipiu Casale dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Latina Basket's 32. They outrebounded Latina Basket 33-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. Novipiu Casale looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Novipiu Casale made 8 blocks.
