Adelaide 36ers' coach Joey Wright allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Jason Cadee (186-91) answered with 29 points and American forward Greg Whittington (203-93, college: Rutgers) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kings. Five Adelaide 36ers and four Kings players scored in double figures. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Adelaide 36ers. They keep a position of league leader. Kings lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the second place with nine games lost. Adelaide 36ers will play against Perth Wildcats (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kings will play against Illawarra Hawks (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
