Regular Season Round 12: Pauian - Fubon Braves 81-70

Very important is a loss of second ranked Fubon Braves (10-5) against fifth ranked Pauian (6-9) on Sunday night. Fubon Braves were defeated by Pauian 81-70. Pauian had a 33-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. The winners were led by international power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 6 blocks and the former international forward Tse-Wei Chen (200-85) supported him with 25 points. Even 24 points and 9 rebounds by guard Yu-Hsuan Sung (183-89) did not help to save the game for Fubon Braves. Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pauian maintains fifth position with 6-9 record. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the second place with five games lost. Pauian will play against higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Fubon Braves will play against the league's leader Dacin Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
