The game in Lille was also quite interesting. Second ranked Charleville-Mezieres (10-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Lille Metropole (7-6). Charleville-Mezieres managed to secure a 6-point victory 76-70 on Tuesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lille Metropole won third quarter 24-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Charleville-Mezieres maintains second place with 10-3 record having just two points less than leader Provence Basket. Loser Lille Metropole keeps the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Denain. Charleville-Mezieres will meet at home Denain Voltaire (#6) in the next round. Lille Metropole will play against SO Maritime Boulogne in Boulogne-sur-Mer and hope to secure a win.
