LEB Gold top team - Leche Rio Breogan (90-6) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat eighteenth ranked Barca II (2-94) in Lugo 85-70. The game was mostly controlled by Leche Rio Breogan. Barca II managed to win fourth quarter 28-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Barca II 46-24 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Ivan Cruz Uceda (208-91, college: Miami, FL) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Jose Salvador Arco (196-84, agency: Duran International) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Latvian Rodions Kurucs (206-98) produced 20 points and forward Jordi Trias (208-80) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Barca II players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Leche Rio Breogan maintains first place with 90-6 record. Barca II lost their tenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 94 lost games. Leche Rio Breogan will meet at home Cocinas.com (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
