Very predictable result when fourth ranked Bergamo (10-2) defeated on the road 14th ranked San Vendemiano (3-10) 80-69 on Thursday. Guard Simone Berti (196-85) stepped up and scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and naturalized Argentinian Mario Jose Ghersetti (201-81) chipped in 23 points. At the losing side power forward Andrea Carlesso (202-82) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Michele Antelli (183-98) scored 12 points and 5 assists.
