Very expected game when 11th ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (7-8) lost on the road to seventh ranked Cambados (9-6) 83-72 on Friday. The game without a history. Cambados led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for center Pedro Romera (210-88) who led his team to a victory with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Congolese forward Charles Nkaloulou (199-94) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Cambados' coach Manuel Santos used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Jose Medina (185-93) answered with 24 points and 4 assists and British center Jack Crook (211-93, college: Seattle) added 11 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Agustinos-Leclerc. Four Agustinos-Leclerc players scored in double figures. Cambados moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Valladolid. Newly promoted Agustinos-Leclerc dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Cambados will face bottom-ranked Zamorano (#16) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Agustinos-Leclerc will play against Blancos de Rueda (#5) and hope to win that game.
