Regular Season Round 15: Avila - L'Hospitalet 68-65

Fifteenth-ranked L'Hospitalet (4-11) was very close to win a game against third ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (10-5) in Avila. Fontedoso Carrefour managed to secure only three-point victory 68-65. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Carlos Noguerol (186-93) who scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Serbian center Nikola Vujovic (210-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Gabriel Diaz-Morera (196-89) who recorded 17 points and center Eduard Arques (202-94) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. L'Hospitalet's coach Jorge Tarragona rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fontedoso Carrefour maintains third place with 10-5 record behind leader Granada, which they share with Sammic ISB. L'Hospitalet lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth position with 11 games lost. Fontedoso Carrefour's next round opponent will be league's leader CB Granada at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. L'Hospitalet will play against Alcazar (#10) and hope to win that game.
