Not a big story in a game when 18th ranked Barca II (2-94) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Oviedo CB (13-4) 80-60 on Friday. Forward Daniel Perez (200-69) stepped up and scored 10 points and 8 assists for the winners and guard Manuel Rodriguez (192-91) chipped in 16 points. Forward Jordi Trias (208-80) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and Guyanese-Serbian guard Stefan Peno (198-97) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Oviedo CB. Oviedo CB maintains second place with 13-4 record having 156 points less than leader Breogan. Barca II lost their tenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 94 lost games. Oviedo CB will face Ourense (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Barca II will play against CB Prat (#14) and hope to win that game.
