Maccabi Rehovot looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman Gur Porat (197-79) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Yates is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Cinmeon Bowers (201-93, college: Auburn) produced 26 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Maccabi Rehovot have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hap.Haifa. Loser Galil Elion keeps the eleventh position with eight games lost. Maccabi Rehovot will face league's leader Ironi Nes-Ziona in Nes Ziyona in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
