No shocking result in a game when second ranked Salon Vilpas (14-4) beat at home 9th ranked KTP-Basket (6-13) 79-70. The hosts were already 15 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 27-21 KTP-Basket's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 79-70 at the end of the game. KTP-Basket was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Al'Lonzo Coleman (201-89, college: Presbyterian) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and forward Okko Jarvi (193-96) who added 16 points during the contest. Four Salon Vilpas players scored in double figures. American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 19 rebounds and 9 assists and Jamaican-American power forward Sherman Gay (201-82, college: Loyola Mary) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. KTP-Basket's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Salon Vilpas have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-4 record behind leader Helsinki Seagulls. KTP-Basket at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost.
