Regular Season Round 14: Cassino - Scauri 88-76

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Scauri (6-8) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Cassino (9-5) 88-76 on Wednesday. Cassino made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Cassino outrebounded Scauri 47-27 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Scauri was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Simone Bagnoli (205-81) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists.
