The game without a history. Universidad de Concepcion led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) stepped up and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and forward Diego Silva (186-93) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward John Dickson (198-90, college: Sacramento St.) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import power forward Brandon Crawford (201-84, college: Albion) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Universidad de Concepcion maintains third place with 19-9 record having five points less than leader Los Leones. Universidad Catolica lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games. Universidad de Concepcion will meet league's leader Los Leones in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
