No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Deportivo Valdivia (17-11) defeated at home 8th ranked CD Castro (13-17) 102-92 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 102-92. American Durrell Summers (193-89, college: Michigan St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for the winners and the former international Gerardo Isla (201-91, college: Columbia, MO) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Tyrone Lee (204-90, college: Grand Valley St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Terrance Thomas (198-80, college: Baylor, agency: Interperformances) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Deportivo Valdivia have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser CD Castro dropped to the ninth position with 17 games lost.
