There was no surprise when 15th ranked Sestu (2-12) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Piacenza (11-3) 95-73 on Wednesday. Piacenza shot 66.7 percent from the field. They also forced 19 Sestu turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Piacenza looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Giacomo Sanguinetti (180-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who scored 25 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Power forward Diego Banti (206-83, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Piacenza's coach Furio Steffe felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
