No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Lighthouse TR (9-7) won against on the road 12th ranked Rieti (6-10) 80-76 on Friday. Rieti was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Andrea Renzi (207-89, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Carleton Scott (203-88, college: Notre Dame, agency: Inception Sports) who added 24 points during the contest. Four Lighthouse TR players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Argentinian point guard Marcos Casini (188-80) responded with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward DeShawn Sims (203-88, college: Michigan) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Rieti's coach Luciano Nunzi tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Lighthouse TR maintains seventh position in A2 with 9-7 record. Loser Rieti dropped to the fourteenth place with ten games lost. Lighthouse TR will face higher ranked Roma E-basket (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rieti will play against Treviglio (#9) and hope to win that game.
