Very important is a road loss of third ranked Okapi Aalstar (8-7) against tenth ranked Limburg United (4-10) on Friday night. Visiting Okapi Aalstar was defeated by Limburg United in a tough game in Limburg 83-90. Limburg United made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American forward Seth Tuttle (203-92, college: N.Iowa) notched 23 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and international Hans Vanwijn (205-95) supported him with 14 points. Even 28 points by American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) did not help to save the game for Okapi Aalstar. The former international swingman Olivier Troisfontaines (192-89, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 7 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Limburg United moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Leuven. Okapi Aalstar at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Limburg United will play against league's second-placed Antwerp Giants on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Okapi Aalstar will play against Belfius Mons-Hainaut in Jemappes and hopes to get back on the winning track.
