Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Treviglio (7-7) beat on the road 16th ranked Scafati (4-12) 87-82 on Friday. Treviglio made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Tommaso Marino (192-86, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and Lithuanian Paulius Sorokas (202-92, agency: Players Group) who added 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Treviglio's coach Adriano Vertemati used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Israeli point guard Yuval Naimy (188-85) responded with 23 points and 8 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and American power forward Linton Johnson (203-80, college: Tulane, agency: SPORTlab Agency) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Treviglio moved-up to ninth place in A2. Loser Scafati keeps the sixteenth position with 12 games lost. Treviglio will face Rieti (#14) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Scafati will play against Mens Sana 1871 in Siena and hope to win that game.
