Leader Ironi Nes-Ziona delivered the ninth victory. This time they crushed 11th ranked Hapoel Afula (5-8) 81-51. Ironi Nes-Ziona dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Afula's 24. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Billy McShepard (208-87, college: Valdosta St., agency: Blacktop Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Ironi Nes-Ziona players scored in double figures.
