Regular Season Round 13: Angers - Nantes 71-62

Bottom-ranked Angers managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of five consecutive losses. This time they won against eighth-ranked Nantes Reze 71-62. The hosts were ahead by 6 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 26-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Angers dominated on the defensive end, holding Nantes Reze to just 7 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Nantes Reze's 20. They outrebounded Nantes Reze 42-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Angers players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Angers will play against higher ranked Bourges (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nantes Reze will play against Mondeville (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
