Very predictable result when second ranked Syntex Ksiezak (15-2) won against 10th ranked Ostrow Mazow. (7-10) in Lowicz 82-69 on Sunday. Syntex Ksiezak looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Ostrow Mazow.'s players. Power forward Bartlomiej Bojko (200-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 9 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman Daniel Nieporecki (192-94) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Syntex Ksiezak players scored in double figures. Syntex Ksiezak's coach Robert Kucharek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Krystian Kozluk (205-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and Ukrainian point guard Aleksander Szczerbatiuk (182-96) added 20 points in the effort for Ostrow Mazow.The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Syntex Ksiezak. They keep a position of Group B leader, which they share with KK Warszawa. Loser Ostrow Mazow. dropped to the ninth place with ten games lost. Syntex Ksiezak will face AZS UJK Kielce (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ostrow Mazow. will play against AZS PS Kielce and hope to win that game.
