An interesting game took place in Joniskis where higher ranked Zalgiris II (13-13) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Delikatesas (10-16) 79-63 on Sunday. The game without a history. Delikatesas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Delikatesas forced 20 Zalgiris II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points. Center Nerijus Barauskas (207-92) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Laurynas Birutis (213-97) with 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Kristupas Zemaitis (192-96) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Zalgiris II's coach Tomas Masiulis rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Delikatesas moved-up to tenth place. Loser Zalgiris II keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost.
