There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Sevilla (7-8) defeated at home higher ranked Unicaja Malaga (9-6) 76-68 on Sunday. The game without a history. Sevilla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American guard Trent Lockett (196-90, college: Marquette) fired 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Austrian-Slovenian center Rasid Mahalbasic (210-90, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sevilla players scored in double figures. American forward Jeffrey Brooks (203-89, college: Penn St.) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Carlos Suarez (203-86, agency: Court Side) added 5 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Unicaja Malaga's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sevilla have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. Loser Unicaja Malaga dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Sevilla will face higher ranked Andorra (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
