There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Senigallia (6-7) defeated at home 4th placed San Severo (10-5) 75-63 on Sunday. Senigallia forced 19 San Severo turnovers. It was a good game for guard Andrea Maggiotto (194-88) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Mirco Pierantoni (200-81) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Senigallia players scored in double figures. Senigallia's coach Alessandro Valli used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Ivan Morgillo (206-92, agency: SPORTlab Agency) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Matias Di Marco (180-84) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for San Severo. Senigallia moved-up to ninth place in B. Loser San Severo dropped to the fifth position with five games lost.
