Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (11-6) defeated 9th ranked Zaglebie (4-11) in Sosnowiec 73-68 on Sunday. MCKiS Jaworz. dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Zaglebie's 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Dawid Grochowski (190-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 4 assists. Guard Tomasz Bryzek (195-86) contributed with 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. MCKiS Jaworz.'s coach Marcin Lichtanski allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Pawel Jurczynski (183-91) answered with 29 points and power forward Jakub Czyz (205-95) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Zaglebie. MCKiS Jaworz. maintains fourth place in Group C with 11-6 record. Loser Zaglebie keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. MCKiS Jaworz. will have a break next round. Zaglebie will play on the road against Wisla Krakow (#12) and hope to win that game.
