There was no surprise when 6th ranked Bank of Taiwan (5-18) was defeated by third ranked Yulon Luxgen (15-9) 71-62. Yulon Luxgen brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and international guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) added 12 points respectively for Bank of Taiwan in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Yulon Luxgen maintains third place with 15-9 record having just one point less than leader Dacin Tigers. Bank of Taiwan lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 18 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will have a break next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's second-placed Fubon Braves (#2) and hope to win that game.
