Rather expected game when 12th ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (3-10) was defeated at home by tenth ranked TH Wohnbau Angels (5-8) 63-58 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 22-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Canadian forward Kim Pierre-Louis (183-93, college: Massachusetts) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American guard Jennifer Schlott (168-91, college: Utah St., agency: LBM Management) chipped in 11 points. At the losing side American forward Tabytha Wampler (185-90, college: N.Mexico St.) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Czech swingman Petra Zaplatova (175-91) scored 14 points. TH Wohnbau Angels moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Chemnitz and Bad Aibling. Rotenburg/Scheessel lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. TH Wohnbau Angels will meet at home higher ranked Herner TC (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rotenburg/Scheessel will play against SV Halle Lions (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
