CD Valdicia eked out a narrow home win over Las Animas for 2-0 lead in the series. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 26-17 Las Animas' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 83-81 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Deportivo Valdivia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. The game was dominated by American players. Durrell Summers (193-89, college: Michigan St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St., agency: HMS) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center Terrell Taylor (203-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Aspire Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds and guard Dominic Cheek (198-91, college: Villanova) added 25 points in the effort for Las Animas. Four Las Animas players scored in double figures.
