Very predictable result when fifth ranked San Severo (11-5) defeated on the road 11th ranked Taranto (5-10) 56-42 on Sunday. San Severo forced 21 Taranto turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Argentinian point guard Matias Di Marco (180-84) who helped to win the game recording 5 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Iris Ikangi (200-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 7 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. San Severo's coach Piero Coen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side forward Alessandro Azzaro (197-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Alessandro Procacci (184-94) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. San Severo maintains fifth position in B with 11-5 record. Loser Taranto dropped to the twelfth place with ten games lost.
