Regular Season Round 15: Barna - JAC Sants 77-68

There was a small surprise in Barcelona where eleventh ranked Barna (5-7) beat 8th ranked JAC Sants (5-7) 77-68 on Sunday. It was a great evening for guard Bartu Martinez (187-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!). Center Carles Gimeno (198-98) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Sergi Marco (194-91) with 12 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Pau Enfedaque (197-97) scored 7 points and 6 rebounds. Four JAC Sants players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Barna moved-up to tenth place in Group C-A, which they share with defeated JAC Sants. Barna will face higher ranked Santfeliuenc (#8) in Sant Feliu in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
